Introducing the short documentary by Dr. Mark Levin, an American expert from the MUC School of Foreign Languages, winner of the Chinese Government Friendship Award, stars in Dr. Mark Levin: "Music Life": American Country Singer Telling Chinese Stories" a documentary recently posted to the Central Video hub. The film is one of the short documentary film series with the theme of "Here is the Musical Life of China" produced by the European and Latin American Language Program Center of China Central Radio and Television.
The film takes Dr. Mark Levin's country music creation as an entry point. By telling what he sees and feels in China, it shows the rapid development and changes of China's economy and society and the determination and courage of the Chinese people to fight the epidemic in unity. Also, by introducing his work and life on the MUC campus. In the documentary, he vividly explains the campus atmosphere - one of harmonious coexistence between instructors and students of all ethnic groups and the integration of diverse cultures in Minzu University of China.
Dr. Mark Levin received his permanent residence identity card for foreigners in China in 2016. He said affectionately in the film, "Although I was 72 years old at the time, as a "Chinese" I was only four years old. I am full of expectations for the future... I will continue to tell Chinese stories with music."
