On November 5th, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries held a reception in Beijing to celebrate the 45th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and Fiji. Instructors and students from the MUC School of Music, MUC School of Dance, and MUC Office of International Relations were invited to participate in the activities. They performed wonderful cultural programs at the reception, which were well received by the guests.
At the reception, the Chinese-Kazakh students of the MUC School of Music performed music on the dombra. In contrast, students from the MUC School of Dance performed a group dance piece titled "Splendid China." This performance encompassed dance techniques originating from various ethnic groups from around China. The performance demonstrated to the foreign guest the splendor and colorful array of Chinese ethnic diversity jointly forged into a beautiful vision of the prosperous Chinese ethnic community.
